A JOINT  VENTURE BETWEEN SOUTH CAMBRIDGESHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL AND THE HILL GROUP

SCIP

The South Cambridgeshire Investment Partnership (SCIP) is a 50:50 joint venture between South Cambridgeshire District Council and Hill, one of the UK’s largest private housebuilders.

Established in October 2020 the partnership will source and acquire new land opportunities for the development of high quality, sustainable housing and commercial spaces.

Over the next four years, the Council is actively looking to invest up to £170million with its investment partners in the acquisition and sustainable development of land in South Cambridgeshire and the wider travel to work area, as determined by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Independent Economic Review (CPIER).

Cambourne

Delivering a sustainable well-connected new neighbourhood for Cambourne

Our plans to deliver a sustainable and well-connected new neighbourhood for the local community on Land North of Lower Cambourne.

The proposals are for up to 260 much needed new homes, 40% of which will be affordable housing, alongside new open spaces, children’s play areas, cycle and pedestrian routes and a market square.
